Elafonisos

Simos beach is on the southern side of Elafonisos island in Leuki region. It took its name after the diver and sponge fisherman from Kalymnos, Simos, who drowned in the area near Fragko. It consists of two beaches, Fragko and Sarakiniko, which are called “twin beaches”. Simos beach is a lovely beach with thin pebbles and sand hills that reach up to 10m; a forest spreads around both beaches and creates a lovely scenery. The waters are blue-green and the dunes offer natural shade.

Gytheio

Gytheio is an ancient, historical city of east Mani, built amphitheatrically on the foot of the Larysio mountain, known today as Koumaros; it is the port of the south Peloponnese, near the mouth of Evrotas river.

Gerakas

Gerakas is an astounding tourist destination located 22km away from Kastropolitia. It used to be one of the biggest and most important ports in the broader area the period of time Monemvasia enjoyed great prosperity. That was the exact point, from where export of products of viniculture and the world famous Malvasia wine was conducted. The name Porto delle Botte was attributed for this particular reason to Gerakas, meaning the port of the barrels.

Kyparissi

Long before reaching Kyparissi, it is clear that one is entering no ordinary landscape. Leaving behind the village of Harakas, as one reaches Stavros, an awe-inspiring vista opens up, as if the Parnon mountain range has been cut with a huge knife, forming a cliff face that drops down into the Myrtoon Sea.
